Just bring yourself, some extra high fives, and a never-say-die attitude. Rise up! NOTES: We work out rain or shine and on all holidays. Don't worry about asking, "Will you guys be working out tomorrow? Tomorrow will be [rainy/hot/cold/windy/Christmas/New Years Day/My Grandma's Birthday] so I wasn't sure if you'd be there." The answer is always YES, we will be there. This is FREE fitness. It costs $0. Every time. Just show up. After the workout Feel free to hang out for a bit as we reminisce about how awesome that time was on top of Doug Sahm Hill at a nearby coffee shop.

Hybrid Athletes tackle all kinds of terrain, and that means elevation training is a must. We’re gonna be chomping through some of my favorite( bc it sucks) hills in 78704! 🏔️🏃🏽‍♂️ Ideally like to park off Azie Morton Rd as if for Barton pool. We run through our dynamic warmups Start with a warmup hike up the hill first Then we officially run for 30-40 mins up Azie down Rabb and now there’s all these hills that offshoot this road. So we’re gonna smash all these hills eventually, like Barton skyway, Crestview, wilkes… Wear your preferred street hill running shoes( cushion). This will be TOUGH. Please bring water and food as necessary. Nothing fun here except if you’re me and find pleasure in the hills 😁 Hill running training is an underrated training method that translates to stronger quads to get faster and even better conditioning than a normal flat route. Plus you build grit. 🦷
